Who I am

My name is Misty, I started Mistoils and Herbs after my body rejected all hormone and thyroid treatment. During my health journey of being misdiagnosed and bad reactions to pharmaceutical medicine, I started to do research into herbal supplements. After years of trial and error, I started to have positive results.

This is a path I needed to take; to help others as I help myself. I enrolled into Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and have been learning more about business, agriculture, herbal interactions, and various cultures.

As to why I choose bats as my mascot: it keeps me closer to my dad and grandfather who have both moved on. We all used to sit under the moon and watch the bats fly past the streetlights as they moved from field to field. I feel bats have a bad stigma in our society. They actually symbolize “rebirth,” which I’d like to compare the bat to the rebirth of our health journey.
