Ingredients include:
Ashwagandha: Contains adaptogenic properties that may help the body cope with stress by regulating cortisol levels, the primary stress hormone. May reduce stress, anxiety and fatigue. May improve sleep, enhance cognitive function, may increase testosterone and hormone levels. Potential anti-inflammatory. CAUTION: Ashwagandha is a short term root and is not to be used longer than 3 months at a time. Some individuals may experience upset stomach, diarrhea, nausea, headache, or drowsiness. Potential drug interactions include: sedatives, immunosuppressants, thyroid medication, diabetes and blood pressure medications. Not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. May boost mood, may alleviate menstrual pain and potentially speed up wound healing. CAUTION: May cause gastrointestinal discomfort like constipation, headache, nausea, or increased appetite. If taken in large amounts lavender can be toxic, leading to symptoms like blurred vision, difficulty breathing, throat pain, confusion, stomach pain, vomiting or rash.
Lemon Balm: May reduce stress, anxiety, improve mood, and cognitive function. Also may aid in digestion issues like gas and indigestion. May help with sleep quality, headaches, and the healing of cold sores. Lemon balm contains compounds like rosmarinic acid that have sedative, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. CAUTION: May cause gastrointestinal issues like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, and increased appetite. May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or wheezing.
